About

From Jonathan Lamas, your About Auto & Wheels Editor
There's an all-new Chrysler 200 on the market. It's got good looks, is smartly appointed, and we think it's an overall bargain.

Test Drive: 2015 Chrysler 200
The all-new Chrysler 200 has been redesigned, inside and out. With a starting price of around $22,695 (including $995 destination fee), the car is a bargain. Our cars expert, Aaron Gold, says, "Despite its rental-car special appearance, with plastic wheel covers and minimal exterior trim, the LX does come with bi-xenon headlights, keyless push-button ignition, eight airbags, and a rather nice cloth upholstery."

Used Cars: What do a Used Prius and Used Pickup Share?

Our used cars expect, Keith Griffin, reports that Prius models are dropping because buyers are no longer bothered by high gas prices, while pickups are dropping because of the softening in the new house construction business. Thoughts? Let us know what you think.

Auto Repair: How Does An Alternator Work?
You've probably heard it before. "My alternator went out." Okay, so what exactly does that mean? This week our auto repair expect, Matthew Wright, explains what an alternator does and how it works. Good news if you're ever one of the unlucky few with a bad alternator. Even better if you're one of the many listening to the story!
